A Million Thanks

As many of you know, I have been taking classes through Southern New Hampshire University for some time now.  This month, all students and alumni were invited to take part in SNHU Global Days of Service.  We were able to choose an organization that we wanted to contribute to, whether it be contributing materials or our time to that specific organization.  The organization that I chose is called A Million Thanks.  This organization sends letters to members of the military.  Volunteers hand write letters that are sent to the organization’s headquarters where those letters are then sent out to the troops or to veterans. If the volunteer chooses to include their mailing address, there is a good chance that the service member will write back!! I just sealed my envelope tonight! And, you know what? It felt really good to participate in a project that might help put a smile on someone’s face! If you’re interested in learning more about this organization and possibly writing a letter or two, check out A Million Thanks.
